When we think of a vehicle built for adventure, the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport immediately springs to mind. This is only natural, considering that the compact SUV proved its versatility and capabilities last year with the release of its first-generation model.
The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport will most likely retain the elements that enabled the previous model to stand out from the pack. For example, it will exhibit the same style: a scaled-down version of its big brother.
On the inside, we appreciate the various design elements and comforts this little road warrior has to offer. The eight-inch screen in the center console is more than sufficient to provide all the necessary information. Meanwhile, the onboard SYNC system features voice commands, in addition to total connectivity. These elements will all be part of the 2023 Bronco Sport.
However, the biggest anticipated novelty will have to wait another year. We know that a hybrid powertrain is in the works, but it won’t be available before 2024. As a result, the 2023 Bronco Sport will be able to retain the 2.0 L 250-horsepower engine found in the Badlands version.
Entry-level versions will continue to feature the current 1.5 L 3-cylinder 181-horsepower engine. The good news is that all-wheel drive will still be on the menu and the GOAT (Go Over Any Terrain) system should offer options that are even more efficient, enabling treks under all types of different conditions.
Ford has come up with some other rather interesting elements. For example, a cargo area that’s high enough to accommodate a bicycle. Plus the inclusion of a liftgate that opens in two sections: either the window alone or the liftgate in its entirety. And even the optional slide-out table in the liftgate, with its lights and outlets, permitting a veritable picnic. All of these elements will once again find their place in the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport.
For the moment, the only anticipated modifications are the addition of an even more impressive catalogue of parts and further options for personalization. Nevertheless, the Ford Bronco Sport promises to be every bit as spectacular as the previous model!
