The Ford F-150 remains a sure value for anyone looking for a pickup truck that’s tough, powerful and comfortable. For the 2024 model year, the choice of versions and powertrains remains ample. Meanwhile certain versions of the vehicle exhibit notable esthetic tweaks, for example, LED running lights incorporated into the grille, in between the headlights. The taillights, for their part, exhibit a more high-tech style.
The 2024 F-150 is available in seven different versions, each trim level offering better equipment and capabilities than the last. The starting prices are as follows: $50,300 for the XL, $58,900 for the STX, $61,500 for the XLT, $81,100 for the LARIAT, $94,300 for the King Ranch, $103,100 for the Platinum and $108,900 for the Raptor.
Different variants and combinations are also possible in terms of drivetrains (rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive), cabs (Regular, Super or SuperCrew) and bed lengths (5’5″, 6’5″ or 8′).
The 2024 Ford F-150 full-size pickup is available with six different powertrains, depending on the version. Namely, a 2.7 L V6 EcoBoost turbo (290 hp/400 lbf·ft); a 3.5 L V6 EcoBoost turbo (400 hp/500 lbf·ft); a 3.5 L V6 PowerBoost, plus an electric motor (430 hp/570 lbf·ft); a high-output 3.5 L V6 EcoBoost (450 hp/510 lbf·ft); a 5.0 L Ti-VCT V8 (486 hp/418 lbf·ft); and a 5.2 L supercharged V8 (700 hp/640 lbf·ft).
The STX version boasts a more aggressive look, with color-coordinated exterior trim, standard 20-inch rims, a sporty interior and more. With regard to the Raptor, it retains its “bad-boy” image, thanks to its raised hood and other more apparent alterations.
The highest maximum tow rating for a Ford F-150 is 13,500 pounds (with the appropriate configuration). As for the maximum payload capacity, it’s 2,445 pounds.
The cabs of the 2024 Ford F-150 are exceptionally roomy. The entry-level models ensure plenty of comfort, while the higher trim levels are downright luxurious. The 12-inch productivity screen and the center touchscreen come standard on all versions. Ford has also equipped the F-150 with a whole host of available technologies, including hands-free highway driving, innovative towing, head-up display, a Pro-Access liftgate and Pro Power Onboard, just to name a few.
