The 2024 Ford Edge will come on the market with essentially the same look as the 2023 model. Ford will offer it in several different versions, namely, SE, SL, ST-Line, Titanium and ST, with an MSRP ranging from $40,400 to $54,300.
The base (SE) version of this elegant midsize SUV will once again offer plenty of equipment, as well as a generous amount of space, with capacity for five occupants. It will come standard with an efficient 2.0 L inline-four EcoBoost engine featuring direct injection and a twin-scroll turbocharger. It will also include intelligent AWD and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque this powertrain provides give the vehicle a fair amount of pep, while offering reasonable combined fuel consumption of 10.2 liters per 100 kilometers. A 2.7 L V6 turbo engine (335 hp/380 lbf·ft) and seven-speed transmission (FWD) will be exclusively available on the ST version.
The manufacturer’s limited bumper-to-bumper warranty for the 2024 Ford Edge, regardless of the version, is for 3 years or 60,000 kilometers (whichever comes first). The warranty on the powertrain and safety restraint system is for 5 years or 100,000 kilometers. Coverage for corrosion (perforation only) extends for 5 years (with unlimited mileage), while the roadside assistance program is valid for 5 years or 100,000 kilometers.
With a length of 4,796 mm, a weight of 1,860 kg, a cabin volume of 3,225 L, 1,020 mm of headroom, up to 2,078 L of cargo volume and a maximum tow rating of 3,500 lb, the Ford Edge is a safe, practical sport utility vehicle.
On the SEL version, motorists especially appreciate the roof side rails, DEL fog lights and optional Co-Pilot 360 Assist+ suite of safety and driver assist technologies.
Luxurious in the higher trim levels, the cabin of the 2024 Ford Edge is fully loaded. Standard equipment includes a 12-inch central screen, as well as multimedia and connectivity systems (SYNC 4A, Apple CarPlay, FordPass Connect and Android Auto). The Titanium version features the Belt-Minder, MyKey, Personal Safety, SOS Post-Crash Alert and Safety Canopy systems. This is in addition to front and rear air bags and side curtains.
