The 2021 Ford Bronco confirm that the legendary Ford Bronco is making its big comeback after being taken out of production in 1996. There’s some good news for 2020, after all!
The 2021 Ford Bronco is the first true rival of the Jeep Wrangler to come around in decades. It can be characterized as a square-bodied SUV focused on all-terrain performance, with a solid rear axle, removable components, a two-door model and a wealth of options for personalization. We couldn’t be more thrilled!
Both the two-door and four-door models of the Ford Bronco will be available with a choice of two engines: a 2.3 L 270 hp in-line 4-cylinder EcoBoost or a 2.7 L 310 hp V6. Either one can be paired with Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission, but the 2.3 L engine can also be equipped with a seven-speed manual transmission.
As expected, all of the Broncos will be equipped with four-wheel drive. And Ford has even confirmed an upcoming hybrid model.
This comes as no great surprise, considering that Ford has previously announced its intentions to electrify its entire fleet of vehicles. But it’s great news all the same!
If there’s one option that’s indispensable for diehard fans, it’s the Sasquatch package. As the name implies, it’s the one with the oversized tires. Besides a set of whopping 35-inch tires mounted on 17-inch wheels, it also offers a shorter final drive ratio, Bilstein™ position-sensitive monotube shocks, front and rear locking differentials, a suspension lift kit and high-clearance fender flares.
Good news to ease the pain of the disappearance of the Ford Bronco nearly a quarter of a century ago. If you want more information about the 2021 Bronco, contact us at Pinard Ford.
